Based out in Copenhagen, NAKED has been outfitting women with some of the finest kicks since 2004—from Nike and Jordan Brand to ASICS Tiger and adidas. The Danish sneaker store have now partnered up with adidas Consortium for a special redressing of the Samba and UltraBOOST. The “Waves Pack” sees these two classics revamped to reflect NAKED’s signature ocean-inspired color palette.
The Samba—which has been wildly successful over the last 60 years—sees a refreshing turquoise ostrich upper which beautifully contrasts the white of its stripes and heel. The silhouette also features its traditional natural gumsole with an added logo embossing special to this NAKED release. The UltraBOOST, which currently spearheads adidas in the market, sees a light aqua woolen upper to its signature contemporary Primeknit upper. The sneaker also includes tonal mesh seen throughout the top line of the collar and partially on the tongue. The sneaker is topped off with an aqua consortium midsole, FITFRAME 3D-molded TPU heel stabilizer, along with its signature boost midsole and Torsion system.
The “Waves Pack” is not entirely exclusive to one gender.
Yes, women do tend to get a wider color palette to some of the best sneakers, but the “Waves Pack” is not entirely exclusive to one gender. The collection comes in bigger sizes for those still trying to get their hands on these kicks. The Samba retails at $150 USD/€150 EUR, while the UltraBOOST’s go for $180 USD/€180 EUR. With the holiday season in full force, the NAKED x adidas Consortium “Waves Pack” makes the perfect gift for that special someone. The collection drops on December 23rd and is available at its Copenhagen storefront, along with its online store.
